I am a senior software engineer and team leader with 15+ years of experience turning complex business problems into reliable, well-crafted products for clients around the world.
My career spans multiple stacks and paradigms — object-oriented, functional, and event-driven systems, from monoliths to distributed architectures. I don’t define myself by a single language or framework: what defines my work is a way of thinking. DDD is my framework of choice for architecture and design decisions, and I’m obsessed with delivering elegant, thoroughly tested solutions — fast.
In the AI era, adaptability matters more than any single stack: tools and languages keep changing, but designing systems, leading teams, and solving real business problems remain the core skills.
Working with AI
I treat AI as a force multiplier, not a buzzword, and have integrated it hands-on into my daily work:
- Local models — running LLMs on my own hardware for privacy-sensitive work, cost control, and fast iteration.
- AI agents — orchestrating autonomous coding agents with opinionated harnesses for development workflows: refactoring, testing, and multi-step tasks with review gates.
- Production support automation — building AI-assisted automation for support and incident response on production systems, reducing manual toil and response times.
What I’m looking for
I’m most motivated by challenging problems, such as:
- Streaming and real-time user interactions (Event Sourcing, WebRTC)
- Data processing at scale
- Refactoring, upgrading, and rescuing legacy projects
- Leading and mentoring teams, sharing knowledge with colleagues
Beyond the code
I contribute to open source when I can — my work is on GitHub — and I’m a constant reader, mostly about async remote management, architectural design, AI tooling, and emerging technologies.
All of my professional work is fully async remote: I’m used to owning outcomes, communicating clearly in writing, and working across time zones.
